About the task
The goal of this set of icons is to create visual cues for variations in risk likelihood that will be more intuitive than simple numbers yet small enough to be replicated repeatedly in summary tables.
What’s special about this image?
This innovative design uses the size of the orange bubble to convey the size of the
likelihood with the black bubble showing the total 100% space. A weakness, however, is that the primary cue is area which is harder for people to interpret– the height of the circle is not actually proportionate to the level of likelihood.
